December 2006 Newsletter
THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa from your friends at Frugal-Families. No matter what your faith, this season is about family, friends, the miracles in our lives and the joy of giving. I want to wish you a joyous holiday season!
We’ve had quite a few old members returning to our forums, so it was suggested that the theme of this months’ newsletter be just that, “There is no place like home for the holidays”. I’ve added a few new articles to help you try and enjoy the holiday season a bit more.

I love spending time doing projects with my children during this season. I found this great article on how to make tin can luminaries which I think you’ll enjoy! This is a great way to put those tin cans to good use and let little imaginations have fun!
We don’t leave our home on Christmas, but the grandparents come over to watch the boys open presents. I love making a brunch that we can all enjoy, but I don’t want to spend time in the kitchen on Christmas morning so I’ve managed to find a few overnight recipes that taste great but require only a few minutes that morning to bake. I thought I’d share them with you.
